Workshops
The Power of Connections Project brings together diverse Pan Amazonian leaders, knowledge holders, and practitioners to share lessons learned, strengthen and expand networks, and chart new Amazonian conservation pathways
To realize these goals, the University of Florida project team and partner organizations in the Amazon basin are creating spaces for shared learning and collaboration centered on five thematic areas:

Conservation Themes
Five discrete and complementary workshops centered on these themes are being held across Amazonian countries, bringing together those who are immersed in day-to-day basin realities and actively forging innovative biocultural conservation strategies.
Socio-bioeconomies and Conservation Finance in the Amazon
Seasoned practitioners, from conservation finance experts to local entrepreneurs, share details of market-based experiences that enhance community well-being while conserving the region’s rich biocultural diversity.
